As an inaugural event held on a beautiful but challenging site, it was vital that TEU worked closely with the landowners

Launched in 2016, FOLD (Freak Out Let’s Dance) Festival is a 5000-capacity festival curated by Nile Rogers (Chic). Held at Fulham Palace, the lineup boasted the likes of Beck, Alison Moyet, Labrinth, Angie Stone and Chic themselves.

The Event Umbrella produced this event on behalf of Robomagic. As an inaugural event held on a beautiful but challenging site, it was vital that TEU worked closely with the landowners and the promoter to ensure that the delivery of the event was achieved with minimal impact to the site and to the budget as required by the promoter.

TEU worked closely with the local authorities and agencies to develop an event management plan that could be agreed by the Safety Advisory Group. Due to the historical nature of the site, extremely strict guidelines had to be followed due to weight loading on the ground and vehicular access to the site being very limited.

The regulations attached to the site would have dissuaded most production companies from attempting an event of this scale. However, we dealt with every regulation and problem solved to achieve an excellent customer experiences that sat within the requirements laid out by both palace and promoter.
